Past Projects

Over the years, I have used many tools to create my wooden art.
This is a representation of one of our dogs, Candy.

Here is the famous Mickey Mouse.
My wife's favorite, Dumbo.

Intarsia of JFK.

Over the years I have changed styles and saws, but have kept wood as the medium because it is beautiful.
My newest tool is the scroll saw.
After making a pattern, I use the scroll saw to hand cut the patterned wood to create these beautiful images that use the wood to bring out the original character of the pictures.

I then use borders and backings to add dimension to the photo.
Then I put it all in a frame.

Introductions

   I'm a retired firefighter.

Who teaches at a fire academy.

Who grows a garden.

And has a talent with wood.

So I thought I would share it with you.
